President – Chief Steering Officer
- Presides over all PacWest SFS meetings & functions
- Drives long‑range and strategic planning with the Executive Board/Steering Committee
- Safeguards the financial solvency & sustainability of PacWest SFS
- Sets meeting agendas in partnership with the Executive Board
- Recommends conference venues & dates with the Conference Coordinator
- Coaches & evaluates Steering Committee performance
- Leads bylaws reviews & presents updates for approval
Vice President – Strategic Support & Succession
- Partners with the President on key initiatives
- Serves as acting President during absences or disability
Secretary – Records & Communications Anchor
- Serves as the recording officer & custodian of official records
- Attends meetings, prepares and distributes minutes
- Maintains written records for the organization
- Takes roll call and ensures timely follow‑up
Treasurer – Financial Steward
- Acts as PacWest SFS’s “banker,” managing deposits & payments
- Ensures organizational solvency alongside the Executive Board/Steering Committee
- Submits a conference financial report within 45 days post‑event
- Crafts the annual budget with the President and secures approval by June
- Reviews conference contracts (venue, food, A/V) with the Conference Coordinator
- Reconcile membership & conference fees with the Web Coordinator
- Oversees annual filings, including accurate tax returns
Academic Member‑at‑Large – Campus Liaison & Voice of Institutions
- Elected institutional representative keeping the Board student‑centric and campus‑relevant
- Serves on the Membership or Communications Committee to amplify member engagement
- Injects on‑the‑ground insight into governance and strategic decisions
Corporate Partner Member‑at‑Large – Industry Connector & Innovation Scout
- Elected corporate representative bringing cutting‑edge solutions and fiscal insight to the Board
- Serves on the Membership or Communications Committee to nurture campus‑vendor partnerships
- Adds business perspective to governance and organization‑wide initiatives
